and that would be a shame. Get on there and vote.

Same here, but guess what?
I could care less what the Daily Jokelahoman readers think about Marshall Brewing. Put those same two in a poll in the World and Coop wouldn't stand a chance.

Sure, but why give them the satisfaction? Pub Ale took it last year. I just thought it a shame to see it go out so soon.
I voted a few times (maybe more than a few) and now Marshall's is ahead.
So an Oklahoma City paper is running a poll for the best beer in Tulsa and a Oklahoma City based brewery is winning over a Tulsa brewery.
Go Figure
Not winning anymore
I just voted a bunch more times and now it is back to winning.
I have to leave now so it is up to the rest of you to keep voting.

I meant not winning to swakes comment about the OKC beer winning. I did a few votes to get marshalls up as well and had it ahead at 51% when I posted. Did it fall again after that?

it's up at 51.14% at the moment
51.05% as of my latest vote.
52.9%
It made it through this round with a final 52%. Now we all need to vote again ten times on Wednesday.
I just like the idea of a Tulsa product beating an OKC product in an OKC newspaper poll.
Plus Marshall's is actually the better beer.
Ok what the L is a Coop F5 ?
Never had it and probably never will. No way it can be better than a Marshall's.
It is now leading again so I will get in my 10 and hope to bring the numbers back up.
Lets keep it up guy's, I didnt even know about this till this morning.
Looking good so far. The more this thread is bumped, the more likely I am to remember to repeatedly vote. ;)
Marshall McNellie's Pub Ale beat F5. Now it's pitted against Coop DNR.

And it's very close. I've voted my 10 times
Marshall's is about ten votes behind and voting closes in about an hour...
Marshall's McNellie's Pub Ale wins by just a handle of votes...
50.6% to 49.4%
I voted against COOP Beers yesterday not even knowing who they are or even trying their Beer.
The reason I did was because it looked as if the people running this survey was pimping them to win.
And after just looking at the voting page, they have nothing but wonderful praise for how well COOP did and that their can Beer with be a force to reckon with in the future of this competition.
I may be wrong but having had all of the Marshall's brews. I just cant believe that it can be beaten by a can of Beer.
P.S. Bring back the BIG JAMOKE ! please.

Big Jamoke:
Eric Marshall's big holiday gift to his fans.
vote vote vote
A half hour left...
McNellies Pub Ale won. Nice job guys.
I'm sure without our mighty powers we'd be choking down some inferior OKC beer wondering why it won.
They were the best and the voters agreed.
I note that it's a little funny that Mustang Brewing is being touted as an 'Oklahoma brewer', when they likely aren't.
Sure, they create their recipes in Oklahoma. Read their website though:
"We brew through partnerships with some of the country's finest breweries".
Where? I'm betting not in Oklahoma.
Congratulations to Eric once again. Guess I need to go get me some of the Big J this weekend. I sure wish that was one of his 'core' beers.
Beer advocate says it is owned by Boston Beer and brewed in Wisconsin.

That's ironic.
Mustang, an Oklahoma beer is brewed by Boston Beer located in Wisconsin (not in Massachusetts).
Double location FAIL.
Thanks to everyone for voting we really appreciate it! The support from this forum has been awesome over the last few years and I hope you all understand what that means to us here. As far as Big Jamoke, it should be in stores today. My other brewer's have made the claim that it is even better this year than it was last year. I will let you all be the judge. Also, look for El Cucuy, our India-Style Black Ale, to be out the 1st of December. We bottled yesterday and if you like big hoppy beers, I think you will like it. Thanks again for your unwavering support!
Cheers-
Eric

I'd been wondering when the KooKoo would hit shelves. Looking forward to it.
I also saw some of the pictures Nick took on his tour of the brewery and found it quaint and cool that you used an old turkey roaster to melt the wax for the bombers. Neat stuff.
Big Jamoke is my new egg nog ;D
