Title: What a waste of LEO resources, and an untaped source of city income.
Post by: Mike 01Hawk on August 24, 2010, 10:46:12 AM
I've said it once before: http://www.tulsanow.org/forum/index.php?topic=14760.0  But I'll say it again.

Yesterday I took the Creek from Catoosa to BA ~rush hour.  An 11 mile drive.  During most of the drive for the 1/2 mile+ I could see at times I could count the number of cars I saw on 1 hand.  Also during that time I passed FOUR OHP cars!!! FOUR!!!

For comparisons sake, I also take a 22 mile drive on the BA/169.  The cars will be 3 a breast all doing 10-20mph over the speed limit.  I maybe count ONE LEO every 3-4 days on that drive.

The ratios just blow my mind.

If the cities are so down on their $, how bout some rolling busts on BA/169... it'd be like shooting fish in a barrel.

OHP is paid by OTA, out of toll money, to patrol the turnpikes.
