That's sad but that is one restaurant I just really never had an interest in.

Great atmosphere and location...but the food was too iffy.  Sometimes it was ok, sometimes it was bad. I stopped going because I didn't like taking chances like that. Sad to see it close regardless, but hopefully something will replace it soon.

Did it fail or did they simply make all they wanted to make and are moving on?

Sharp must have someone else wanting the space then.

There's a hotel being built across the street, that just became prime space.

Is the hotel just proposed or a done deal? I thought that was the second choice for it.

Hey. . .How about they are moving into the hotel and have already cut a deal with the developer for a shiny new facility (he said rolling his eyes without basis).

Don't know if that's what happened, but If I were them, I would have been all over that like a ferret on a junebug!

Win-win for both.  The minute I heard the announcement I would have been on the phone to the developer.

Interesting possibility.  Or, the landlord could have upped the rent because of the new development going in across the street.

You mean Internet memes?

I get most of them from hanging out of Fark.com

Its the adult version of 4chan... but you're already lost aren't you?

Yeah, I'm employed. Self-employed and struggling right now. I'd tell you guys what I do, but I'm too opinionated on this site, and I'd rather stay anonymous and speak my mind for now.

I spend a lot of time passing the time online. That's how I know all these new-fangled internet tricks. That and I know and talk with a lot of people.

Wait, wait...

Fark is the "adult" version...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!  ;)

Rumor has it that a new tenant offered the landlord a princely sum to take over the space.

"Hopes" to reopen is the way I read it.  Sounds like Josh is done and Reggie is going to try and re-open.  Curious how much they are into OTC for.

By tenant, do you mean developer who needs the land to satisfy a future parking requirement perhaps?  ;)

By "adult" he means that not everyone on Fark gets their kicks solely from Fart and Weiner jokes.
