Does anybody else on here watch this show ? I'm hooked. Adam Richman is a nut. Talk about a Cardiac Arrest waiting to happen.
My question is. Are there any restaurants here in Tulsa that has a challenge he could take on ?
I catch his show every now and then, I like other programs on Food Network like Iron Chef and my favorite is Diners, Drive In's, & Dives with Guy Fieri. He's a riot.
Some of the stuff he tries is just ridiculous but others seem attainable. I think he has been to the Big Texan out by Amarillo. The funniest stuff I have seen him try were some of the spicy foods. You could see him sweating and his lips and tongue were discolored..I am sure he threw up off camera. maybe Guido could show him how to eat that hot stuff.
Guy Fieri and DDD has been to Eishen's in Okarche. they make a pressure cooked fried chicken that is outstanding. the pressure fryer makes sure the oil is pushed into the chicken rendering it incredibly tasty but very unhealthy. I normally eat a whole chicken...

Guy has also been to Cattlemen's in the stockyards in OKC as well. Eischen's chicken is a bit bland for me, my guilty pleasure for fried dead yardbird is AQ over in Springdale. Hamburger Heaven in Meers, Ok. just north of Lawton has been featured on FN, not sure which program. We ate there on our way to a 100 mile ride in Altus last weekend. 97% lean and less cholesterol than chicken. Freaking awesome. The home made ice cream was to die for as well.

See, that sucks. All but two are in Oklahoma City. We need something unique to bring these shows here to T-Town. I'm not sure what but it would be cool.

He has been there. He ate all of the 72oz steak and everything that goes with it.
Hank's Hamburgers and Bill's Jumbo Burgers both have 2-pound burgers. I'm not sure whether that would be enough of a challenge or not.
Also, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives also checked out Cafe on the Route in Baxter Springs, Kan., which is just across the Oklahoma border. The food there is amazing.
DDD was also at Clanton's in Vinita for the "calf fries". I spoke with an employee there and they apparently still use the sauce Fieri created to eat them.

Heck no, although I can take a heck of a lot of heat. I tried a fire challenge in Joplin, Mo. at a Mexican restaurant on Range Line. Got through about half of that spicy burrito (yes, I signed the waiver) just drenched in habeneros and threw in towel.
I thought someone on here said that the Fat Guys Burgers had a huge burger challenge.

As well as Rock Cafe in Stroud.
Although it is not in Tulsa. Maybe he could do a Pops66 challenge in Arcadia, and try and drink as many different soda pops and set the mark for other challengers.

Although no longer open, I would find it hard to believe any Chicken Fried Steak could have topped the old Silver Dollar in Bixby back in the nineties...
Man Vs. Food was in OKC and did the Fried Catfish Challenge.
I doubt he will be coming back to OK there are still some states and cities he's missed. He hasn't been to Vermont (maple syrup and ice cream), Maine (lobster pups...mmmm), Myrtle Beach, Virgin Islands, Charlotte, West Virginia, Dallas or Houston, Wyoming, Montana, the Dakotas (Bison Bison and more Bison) and Iowa, Reno, Mississippi, Alabama, Guam, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Delaware, Buffalo (Wings and Beef on Weck YUMMY), Rochester (Nick Tahous Garbage Plate...mmmm), Wisconsin, and New Mexico.
Those places more than likely will be visited wayyy before Tulsa is shown on that show.
