Title: The DISCLOSE Act Stopped in Senate
Post by: guido911 on July 27, 2010, 03:50:00 PM
This is the bill prepared in response to the Citizens United case, which I know, was judicial activism by the Roberts Court.

So is there something bad about this bill, or are the Republicans (and apparently Harry Reid) against this just to be against it? Seems like keeping government contractors from lobbying the government for more spending is a good thing.

It is a good bill unless you receive a lot of funding from that lobbying.

So the Republicans are against this because transparency is a bad thing?
