Crooks and Liars has a video taken during the shootout. It really doesn't show much because the guy with the camera very wisely stayed down and out of sight. The shooting can be heard quite clearly, and what's really amazing are the motorists who blithely drive right into the middle of it only to be confronted by the police and forced to back out of the area.
