A fascinating map visualizing county-to-county migration in 2008. This is essentially from where and to where people moved.
Interesting takeaway: Tulsa county lost a lot of people to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and to Colorado (!!). Little Rock also took a chunk of our residents. And we lost about 200 people to cities in the Northwest.

On the income part of the migration, it looks like Tulsa has attracted higher average income than it's lost on many of the counties where there was inflow and outflow and close to even on swaps with Harris County Tx (Houston).
