Referencing the first entry on Webers, I was watching the Food Network last night.  The Bilby's are hardly the only ones making the claim to the first hamburger.  There's the owner of an establishment in Akron, Ohio which claims their ancestor created the first burger in the mid 1860's.  Still others claiming in the 1870's & 1890's.  Makes for good local folklore though.

Check his older blogs on the right side of the page. When I created the post it just happened to be on Weber's.
