ummm... ahhh... do what?
They should leave it like that as art. 8)
Was that a toyota, or did they just mistake the gas pedal for the brake pedal again? :o
I reconize the building but can't place it. Where is that?

I heard on the evening news it has vanity plates from a local Mercedes dealership. It's a loaner.
Wow! I bet somebody didn't know the brake from the gas.

From what I'm hearing of it now, that's pretty much what happened.

Isn't the building in the backgroud the old Fourth National builing?
BofA building 6th & Boulder, parking garage on the east side.
Now I know why that building really stuck out in my mind. In the 70's they imploded a building just to the north of it on Boulder, and when the building came down the top leaned to the south and took a chunk out of the parking garage on that side of the building.
Pretty sure it takes some effort to back through a brick wall.
If the mortar between the bricks isn't any better than the concrete on our streets, maybe not so big an effort.

Complete with a video, though not exactly quality journalism on that part of it.
Not too much effort. Benzes have crumple zones. My daughter folded up a late '80s E-type pretty well running it into the back of a Taurus. The Taurus was hardly scratched. The Benz was totaled. She was unhurt.
That car was hardly crumpled. Here's a pic of the car that went through the wall after it was retrieved:

There's damage, but not much. according to the paper, they were able to drive it back into the garage. If he'd hit one of the columns in there the car would have been badly damaged. As it was, the brick wall was the path of least resistance.

Sorry just saw this thanks to the other thread. A guy I work with took them. I was in my office when he called and said "look out your window." He was out on a smoke break and saw all the commotion so he walked over and took the pics.
