Title: Grilla Rays At QT Plaza 41st & Riverside
Post by: Conan71 on April 28, 2010, 08:34:07 AM
I've stopped and talked to this fellow several times when I've been riding through the QT Plaza at 41st & Riverside, really nice guy, I've not sampled his food yet as I'm usually on my way out or in from a cycling work out, but will soon.  This is the kind of cultural fabric and interest which adds to a community.  It's a great fit with QT Plaza.  Maybe we should have our May TNF lunch there.

"Great News.  May is right around the corner, and we are seeing more and more sunny days filled with nothing but blue skies.  With that in mind, we will be seeing Grilla Ray's around the hood a lot more regularly.

What we are going to do is be serving at 41st Street Plaza as often as six days a week.  Look for us around 11:00 for lunch, and we'll be staying late past 5:00 on Tuesdays for the Disc Golf Tourney.  The only day we will not be down there is Wednesdays, for the time being.

May also marks the beginning of festival season in Tulsa.  Stay tuned for more announcements of Grilla Ray's travels and participation at some of these events."

Grilla Ray's is good stuff. I've been encouraged by the increase in hot dog carts the last couple years.

Now we've got Grilla Ray, the cart at the civic center plaza, the one on Fourth by the city bus depot (it's sometimes even there on weekends), and the Dog House cart (I've seen that cart frequently at 2nd/Elgin on weekend nights and outside the ballpark during games).
