Steve Jobs needed a new liver. The current system has a local list and then a national list. The hospitals look at their own list and then look at the national list. So Steve Jobs went around the country getting on various hospitals organ donation lists to increase his chances (Insurance covers once).

The new bill in California requires the DMV to ask if you want to be an organ donor. They think it will double the number of organ donors. I personally think the DMV should ask if you don't want to be an organ donor.

A friend of mine has an A-100. I was just playing it a couple of nights ago. Fun little gadgets, especially with the autovari for some nice accompaniment. How many modern musical instruments have starter motors? ;)
