Title: Clapton Has Too Many Friends...
Post by: Conan71 on April 01, 2010, 03:42:35 PM
On a lark I thought I'd friend Eric Clapton on Facebook (apparently his personal page, not a fan page) and a message box came up which said:

"Sorry, this user already has too many friends."

B, B, But...I thought you could never have too many friends.

Facebook has a limit of 5,000 friends. Fan pages can have unlimited fans...

I only know of one Tulsan with 5,000 friends, Fox23 meteorologist James Aydelot. I am sure there are plenty of young people with that many as well.

When you get to 5,000, I think they suspend you from getting anymore. Usually, the person sets up a fan page and asks everybody to defriend them and join the fan page.

I know you have a hard time being rejected.
Hey. Be glad you weren't denied. Oh on second thought, scratch that.
Technically, you were.

My friend who shares in his royalties thinks he needs to be. I agree... talk about dullsville. Compared to the 70's and 80's, meh.

Jamo or Johnny C?  You wouldn't be talking about Carl or Jerry in the present tense as far as locals go.
