Who else was even aware we still had a Surgeon General, much less her name? At this crucial point in our health care history I find it oddly curious that our SG has been kept out of view and ear-shot. Personally I'd rather a physician be the secretary of HHS than a former governor of a fly-over state.

What else can I say but a big +1!
I think she is the least talked about SG in history. Good for her. It seems lately that when a SG pokes her head up, it gets shot off.
