WASHINGTON — The Republican National Committee (RNC) is investigating how and why it spent nearly $2,000 for "meals" at a bondage-themed strip club in West Hollywood featuring topless dancers simulating lesbian sex.
The GOP confirmed Monday that it reimbursed a California consultant for $1,946 spent at Voyeur, a high-end bar/lounge that's described on one Web site as "classic slutty" where "you might not be completely shocked at the almost naked women writhing on each other, but you will undoubtedly be in awe."
Um, don't get me wrong. It's entirely OK for people to enjoy various acts between consenting, even same-sex, adults, provided of course, that those two adults don't want to marry one another. That would be wrong. But as we all know, simulated lesbian sex is just good clean fun, almost family entertainment.
Nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.
Oh, wait. There's this bit right at the end:
The March 20 report to the FEC showed that the Republican National Committee had $9.5 million in cash on hand.
The Democratic National Committee had $425,000 in cash.
Sounds like it's party time for the RNC!

The Dems spent all their money getting their people elected and didn't keep any back for a party. How short sighted. :D
I had planned to go to the party, but I was tied up at work.

How so very moral of them. What is "simulated" lesbian sex? I think it was appropriate that it was "bondage-themed." It was just teaching the Republic Torture Teabaggers how to get sexual gratification from doing their jobs.
Some of the other expenses were more predictable for these anti-democratic aristocrats: "Among February expenses reported to the FEC: $17,514 for private jets, $12,691 on limos, $19,016.63 at the W hotel in downtown Washington, $9,099 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California, and $6,596 at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire nearby."
Maybe those GOP coffers consist of Big Pharma and Big Insurance and the Medical Industrial complex pre-deposits to help fund obstructionism. Let's not lose sight of the fact that SCOTUS changed the landscape...
I should have never started talking trash on the GOP. That's why I don't get invited to the fun parties anymore. Instead all I get are invites to hang out un the petting zoo with my Democrat friends. Small farm animals just aren't my speed.

Don't tell me you've already forgotten the time you were trying to help that sheep over the fence at the petting zoo

Thanks a lot. Now, where's that mental bleach?
Windex is on isle two. Sadly I am sure both parties have unscrupulous members writing off experiences that they shouldn't.
As for the whole contradiction/hypocrisy, well that happens when either party ties social issues with there core platform. We all loss when either side does it.
