President Obama gave the Dalai Lama a replica of a letter he had originally received from FDR, and a set of Gold Cuff Links during their secret meeting today.
I assume the Lama owns robes that require cuff links?
Then he was shown to his waiting vehicle through the kitchen door of the White House so that the media wouldn't' snap any pictures of him. I think we could have been a bit more respectful.
Perhaps the President should appoint Tiger as advisor to The President on all things "sneaky." Perhaps he could make the appointment before the Pope's next visit?
Glad the Lama didn't need cab fare. . .because we left our wallet in CHINA!
