We have talked about these signs before but I'm working on an official proposal now and am trying to figure some things out. Among the choices on our signs we have:
-Civic Center
-Police/City Courts
No county courthouse? Shouldn't it just say Police/Courts and eliminate the first one?
Why a chamber of commerce arrow? There is no signage on or in the building to take you to the chamber. Shouldn't the markers be limited to things you can actually find?
I'd like them to point out major palces of intereste (BOK Center, PAC, Blue Dome, Brady, Government Offices, etc). There is no point in pointing out TCC (if they go there, they should already know how to find the buildings).

Agreed, all you have to do is look for the most surface parking downtown and find the buildings in the middle of it all.

I couldn't remember EXACTLY where it was located when I was heading there to sign up, and probably would have actually used the signs to remind me if I couldn't have seen the TCC sign on the building once I it the south end of downtown.
I do think that the signs shouldn't just say city courts, however, I'm sure they are being funded by the city, and thus they wouldn't want to point out a county asset. Not sure how that would work with the city/county library...
What the heck is TCC? The signs all point to "Tulsa Comm Coll".
