Title: Guilty pleasures
Post by: Ed W on February 15, 2010, 06:34:51 PM
OK, so this is a kind of confession.  Catharsis is supposed to be good for the soul, so let's hope this is true.  I have a confession to make.  Yes, yes, I know that most of you think I'm a well-adjusted middle-aged adult, and except for that pernicious bicycle riding habit I'm fairly normal, even dull at times.  Ah, that it were true.  I have a secret life.

Wait for it.

I've been doing this on the sly for some time, keeping it a secret from my friends, family, and co-workers.  It's a dirty secret but now's the time to come clean.  I've been posting on the Tulsa World comments.  There, I've said it.  It still feels dirty, but at least my conscience is clean.

Now, what were you expecting?

I thought you'd been mail-ordering from Mellow Johnny's a few times a week or cruising Sarah Palin's Facebook page.

J C Higgins balloon tire bicycle with fenders, luggage carrier, newspaper basket up front, and a battery powered horn where a gas tank would be if it was a motorcycle.
