"Congressman Sullivan sent out a postcard with the following questions.  Each could be answered with yes, no, or unsure.  Since graduating from high school, I've found that life doesn't always offer such clear cut answers.  More nuance and subtlety is required.  So I've taken the liberty of answering the congressman's questions at greater length, and as always, the answers inevitably lead to more questions.  Such is life."

My apologies for hyping one of my own pieces here.  I promise it will not become a habit.

I sent the card back thanking him for wasting my taxpayer dollars on the mailer.

I stuffed the return envelope with all of my junk mail from that day and sent it.

Point made.

Good letter.

But you must have gotten that by mistake.  Certainly wasn't intended for thinking people.

No political mailer is intended for thinking people.

You got a return envelope? I just got a glossy mailer with a detachable section that I had to stamp myself. Maybe because I'm registered as a Democrat? Were different mailers sent out?

Registered Republicans got an envelope with a $100 bill inside.

You didn't get $100?  I guess they did send out two versions.
