I have had some car work done on my car and the wife's minivan at Alternative Automotive on 15th street. It is halfway between Yale and Sheridan.
For some reason, most of my doctors are in the 51st & Harvard area.

Any particulars as per those recommendations? As in.... what makes you recommend the particular specialists?
I felt the car guys tried to save me money. They gave my car a quick review, offered some advice on when to do some maintenence work, and treated me with respect.
I found them because they had a sign on the street that offered $24.95 oil changes. That was $5 cheaper than they place I was using and $10 cheaper than the chain lube guys.

What area are you settling in, Dude? I could give you some recommendations for Owasso/Collinsville.
Particularly South Tulsa or downtown (15th and Denver), but for certain services willing to drive a bit to get good service.
Not gonna let the secret out about my doctor or dentist, but cars are easy...
Car - these are some I have had very good results with for various parts of the car.
Mufflers - Ralston's in Broken Arrow.
Automatic transmission - Transmission Clinics also Broken Arrow - same corner at 81st and Lynn Lane.
General auto - Baldwins off of 41st and east of Memorial.
Bryant's Automotive on same stree couple doors down.
Have also been to Pep Boys at 71st and Memorial. For light work they are ok and have never changed the quote on me when it came time to pay the bill. But I have also heard less favorable comments from friends.
Sears for shocks - lifetime warranty on shock and labor. I don't drive front wheel drive cars or imports, so don't know about the strut prices. Not much else at Sears.
Hibdon for tires. And patching holes in tires (company policy seems to be "free" - never have charged me for patch, even when didn't buy tire there, so I try to support.)
Lot-A-Burger for best hamburgers in area. Yeah, better than Red Robin, Smashburger and Goldies all combined!

Sears: They have been on my do not use list since 1971. Dad decided the family car needed an air conditioner added to move to OK from PA. The upper radiator hose needed to be replaced too. Sears didn't have the correct molded to shape one so they used a "one size fits all" and had to cut off part of the aircleaner housing to make it fit. We were behind schedule so dad didn't pursue it but I haven't used Sears since.

Almost forgot Hibdon. I had 3 of 4 tires leaking air (about 5 to 10 psi per week). No leaks before the tire purchase/change. After a couple of attempts to get the leaks fixed, Hibdon told me my wheels were leaking. I go to Robertson now.

Won't use Hibdon. They pulled the hustle on my ex and wouldn't make it right multiple times until I went in personally and asked to speak to the manager, similar problems as you mentioned Red Arrow.
I personally use Hesselbein, my company uses Four Star just off SW Blvd and 33rd W. Ave.

Actually quite well, thanks for asking. Range of motion is improving quickly, rehab is actually slighly ahead of schedule. I've been cleared to get back on my rear wheel trainer (bike) as of today and will probably venture out this weekend if roads/trails are clear. They are still thinking another 9 weeks off rowing to allow nerves/tendons to calm down and heal from spur damage.
As far as docs go, I think Rahhal at EOOC is tops if anyone needs a good orthopedist.
Wouldn't really do Sears for anything other than shocks. And maybe alignment (rear wheel drive only).
Hibdon - never had a problem, but son did. Most of the time I buy tires at Sam's Club, but Robertson and Hesselbein have glitched a time or two also. May not be a really good place for tires.
GoodYear on Main street in Broken Arrow is good place (people) but GoodYear tires burned me so bad about 30 years ago, I have only bought one set in that time - for a trailer. Michelin only otherwise.
And NEVER EVER EVER buy a Chinese tire (Hankook). It will kill you eventually.
