Me, too. The liquor store on Morrow on the east side of Sand Springs has it (forgot the place's name).
Ranch Acres Liquor and Wine at 31st & Harvard sells it for $8.99 a sixer.
If your liquor store doesn't stock Marshall's tell them about it. I've been surprised how many clerks have never heard of Marshall's Beer. They wonder why I look at them as if they just sprouted a third eye.
I found the 12 oz. at Bodega's 61st & Yale night before last.
the liquor store in Utica Square has it.
Haven't seen Big Jamoke mentioned yet. I'm looking forward to this one.

QuoteBig Jamoke is an American Robust Porter named for the B-25 that Brewmaster Eric Marshall's grandfather flew in WW II. A blend of five malts from Munich to Chocolate provide a deep mahogany color and aroma of toffee and roasted coffee. On the palate this beer is full-bodied with hints of bittersweet chocolate and toffee... while finishing smooth and dry from the addition of earthy hops. Suggested pairings: Brie or other earthy cheese, ham, barbeque, smoked meats, and any bittersweet chocolate dessert such as espresso flavored lava cake. ABV - 6.8%. IBU - 55. Available in 22 oz bottles next week.

Oh snap !
I gotta try that. Anyone know where its at ?
I'll be keeping an eye out for that!!!
Mmm....a Marshall's Porter...
I had the COOP Ale Works' Oak Aged Imperial Stout (brewed in OKC) this week at McNellie's. It was a very good beer.
According to the guy I talked to at Ranch Acres Friday night, Big Jamoke will be a very limited production run...

One of the guys who works there said he's helped package the six packs, so they've got a man on the "inside" LOL! I like the gold wax on the bottle on the Big Jamoke. I'm just debating how many bottles I should hoard. I don't want to keep anyone else from getting theirs.

Nectar from grains is a more fitting description of Marshall's.

Ha. There's actually a couple people who used to work for the Ranch that now work for Marshall's.
The Ranch will have Big Jamoke today. They didn't have any idea how many cases they will get.
Swung by Marshall's today to pick up a couple pint glasses and I sampled the "Big Jamoke". I am biased toward the darker beers but I have to say that this is by far my favorite Marshall beer and probably in my top 5 porters worldwide*.
*well of the one's I've tried.
Ranch Acres has one less case. This rocks! There aren't many porters I like, every now and then I'll find one I fall in love with. This one is worthy of carrying the Marshall's label. I heart Marshall's Big Jamoke.

Not as nice as your pictures, but I took this out of the fridge.

I am sitting here enjoying my Marshalls Big Jamoke right now and as I thought.
They need to not limit the production. It is AWSOME !! sorry bout the screaming.
You guys have the best taste and info. Thanks.
Very Good Porter... no surprise coming from Marshalls. I want it in 6 packs of 12 oz at least as a seasonal offering.

Total beer porn, quit it guys!!!! Hubba hubba!!!!
Just one other thing. It is 6.8% alcohol by volume.
Bonus :o
Not only was I able to get the Porter yesterday, but they had Atlas IPA and Sundown Wheat on tap at the neighborhood party I went to last night...total beergasm!
Conan. Where do you get the Marshall glasses ?

So far, two good reviews. Hopefully it'll crack the top 10 for American Porters like the Pub Ale has for English Bitters (http://beeradvocate.com/top_beers?style=98)
Will we get to see Big Jamoke at a bar, or is it only in bottles at the moment? Haha, I see jne has kept the Golden Driller beer container from the state fair, I would have kept mine but I accidentally dropped it in the public restroom there.
Update from the MBC twitter: "Big Jamoke Update: Sales through 6 days record breaking. We have a 2nd batch in the fermenter & a planned bottling in just shy of 2 weeks."
That's hardly a surprise. I shared a few bottles for Christmas gifts and have heard nothing in return but great things from my friends. I may actually like this one the best out of the Marshall's fleet. Can't wait to see what he's got up his sleeve next.

I drank one of the two I bought last week and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not usually a big fan of porters, but this was the exception. Smoothest porter I've ever had and would definitely recommend it to others.
The Tulsa World Scene has a Marshalls beer video at the plant. Here is the link. http://www.tulsaworld.com/scene/
Got this snippet of an e-mail today:
"Tulsa, Oklahoma – February 18, 2010 - The much-anticipated release of six packs from Marshall Brewing Company continues with Old Pavilion Pilsner now joining the McNellie's Pub Ale on liquor store shelves throughout Oklahoma.
"Marshall Brewing Company began installation of its fully automated rotary fill bottling line in May 2009. Perfecting installation and bottling combined with an ever-increasing demand for product on draft slowed the release of the six packs to this point. Each of Marshall's remaining Core Beers, Sundown Wheat and Atlas IPA, will be released in the new six pack format on a staggered time schedule. The staggered schedule is born from the company's controlled growth strategy to be sure that production can always keep pace with demand."
More. Beer. Good.
Anyone remember the 2 flavors served at the KRMG political mixer at Flytrap?
Awesome! how come I can't find out about this in the Tulsa World or something? I will check Atlas on the way home.
With the great weather outside. I just had to re-open this post with this pic. Enjoy. :P

QuoteMarshall Brewing Company and Choc Beer Company are pleased to announce
Wild Brew, a limited release collaborative beer that will be brewed in recognition of the annual beer festival in
Tulsa, Okla. The Wild Brew beer will be available in 22 oz. bottles beginning May 3 throughout Oklahoma and
Western Arkansas.
If anyone happens to be going to SW Colorado in the future, I found an outstanding little brewery in Pagosa Springs:
http://www.pagosabrewing.com
In a state over-run (is that really possible?) with micro breweries, this one really stands out. They had some excellent Abbey style brews, the Grand Cru being the best.
Not to hi-jack a thread about our beloved Marshall's but this was about as good a place as any to post on micro brews. And yes, I did bring along some Big Jamoke and Atlas on the trip.
Will there be green Marshalls at McNellies tonight ?
If you mean Green as in environmentally friendly, then yes!
