Title: Jewelry Repair and Replacement Watch Bands
Post by: m2violin on November 20, 2009, 03:13:54 PM
Can anyone recommend a place to repair jewelry?  I have a pair of pierced earrings where the post came off one and would like to repair them.  Also, I would like to have a necklace restrung, a link wristband repaired and a ring resized.  Can anyone help me on this?  Has anyone gone to Moody's for this?  If so, which one?

Also, I need to purchase a replacement wrist watch band.  Does Moody's carry this?  If not, who does?  (Macy's doesn't.  I tried.)

I would prefer to patronize one of our local merchants rather than going online.  Thank you for any help you can provide!

I've always had great luck with Moody's near 12th & Harvard for ring re-sizes, various repairs and watch band fitting.  Make sure you say hi to Izzy Levine when you go in.  Total character.

I use Star Jewelers in Broken Arrow on Main St.
I have had things repaired and I purchase from them also.
Great store and been around for years.

I'll second the Moody's at 12th & Harvard vote.

Thanks for the tips, everyone!  Looks like Moody's original location at 12th & Harvard is the place to go.  Thanks a bunch!
