I have listened to his last three KRMG appearances and this guy makes Keith Olberman sound like Will Rogers. Jeesh....if I was his campaign manager i would just say "stay home and we'll take it from here".

Honestly I wanted to like Adelson because I don't like Dewey but the OP is right. He sounds unprepared, combative and secretive. I was tempted to call in and ask if I could play "Stunt Tom" so he could get through one interview okay.
Dewey's latest radio commercial is literally just playing back Adelson's KRMG interview. It's that bad.
His handlers are suspicious....but Dewey will be taking his calls from the DC Transplanters which will be worse. FOTD is not interested in listening to a Mayor ramble about why he won't take $18 million for police.

Have to say, I was about to bite the steering wheel when I heard Tom yesterday it was pretty bad. He talked himself into a corner and was defensive with Joe Kelley when he didn't need to be. He may have really hurt himself with those who were still on the fence.
Tom isn't a great orator, but I think he will be a great administrator. I seriously can't stomach another four years of LessFortunate, so Tom still gets my vote.

Vote for one of the others that will probably not win. That way you will be able to say you voted against Adelson and Bartlett and have the right to complain.

I am supporting the independent candidate Mark Perkins. I also hope that they will let him be in all the debates between the mayoral candidates. If he does not win I think he will at least bring out some good points in the debates. Don't count the independent candidates out. There are a lot of people that have been turned off by the negative ads between Adelson and Bartlett and a lot of Republicans do not like Bartlett.
Please make sure to vote no matter who it is for so you do have the right to complain :)

Up until the last week, I thought Tom would have a really really good showing with the IND's and the GOP's who see the same thing I do in Dewey's candidacy: part-time mayor and riding on the family name recognition coat-tails. After Tom's interviews on KRMG, I fear he's turned off some of those who really don't want Dewey to be mayor.
While I thought Adelson could have handled the "how much money have you given to Obama" question better (I think there was a misunderstanding of the question, but not sure), I thought Joe Kelley wasted so much time on that one question he missed the opportunity to ask more questions.
I don't like either one of them.
Some time ago for an state rep election IIRC, my choices were two idiots and one guy with a funny name. Funny name got the vote. Later, watching the local newstation's histrionics, funny name guy was depicted with a big white beard, crazy hair and a huge grin. Too bad he didn't win.
Dewey Bartlett is awful. He's an old rich boy party boy. Ick.
I'm voting for Adelson just to make sure Bartlett doesn't get in.
