Title: Free apartment
Post by: Radio on August 14, 2009, 01:17:46 AM
I have a commercial building down in Okmulgee county, between Mounds and Beggs.  It is very remote on a hilltop.

It is presently unused.

While alarmed, and very difficult to get into if you don't have keys, it still takes an extreme amount of abuse from locals.  They damage doors, fences, etc.

I am willing to put an apartment in the building, its own access, etc.  1 or 2 bedroom.  I would provide the apartment for someone, in exchange for them being a presence at the site.

I of course don't expect people to be there 24X7, but enough to make sure people know someone is living there.

The view from inside is bleak.  16 inch thick concrete walls pretty much preclude having windows, but you will find no better place around to survive through a tornado.  Heck, a nuclear blast fairly close by for that matter.  It is great fun to watch the storms roll through from the altitude and view.

Now, you go outside and enjoy a totally fantastic view.  Very quiet, and very beautiful.  I love to sit out there with the grill going and relax.

Anyone interested?   Of course, references required.

What kind of commercial property is it?  Tower farm or something like that?

Well, not really a farm, but it does have a tower, and a 35k square foot nuclear hardened building.  Built to withstand Tulsa being wiped out.

It sounds like a great place to manufacture meth.

Hence, References required.  No, not as the quality of the meth making....

We have been approached in the past at a couple of other similar sites about people wanting to rent them that had less than ... honorable plans for them.

Then there was another smaller site in OK that sits right in the middle of an area that is used by some very militant people for their training.  They met me at the gate when I
was trying to leave - those folks had more weapons than the real military!

Anyone ever hear of (Gordon) Todd Skinner?  Former Tulsa boy who bought a Titan missile silo near Wamego, Ks. and operated an LSD lab out of it.  I think he's still cooling his heels at El Reno in an un-related case.

Good idea to check those references out very thoroughly.

We have actually followed mr skinners exploits - it's a strange twist in the history of special architecture.

Considering the site I have, with its history with Roger Wheeler, who knows what could have gone on there had timing been a little different.

Needless to say, if he gets out on his current charges, we will not be offering him a place to stay

if it weren't for my troop of kids I would take you up on that.  Sounds like it would be right up my alley.
