I know I have seen posts or signups on this forum before from Chris Medlock, G.T. Bynum, Paul Tay, Rocky Frisco, and Rick Wescott. I assume each of them has read the forum at least once and might be a frequent reader.
I also assume that there are other candidates who have posted under a less conspicuous name and are unknown as the author.
Am I missing anyone?
Let me say that I will give a small donation to any candidate who will post their thoughts about any relevent issue this summer. That even goes to Chris Medlock (who so dislikes me that he used my name in a headline on his blog once). It even goes to Prophet Kelly Clark ( who I had to call the police on when he was screaming that he was going to kill me). It even goes out to Anna Falling (who overstated my help so much that it forced me to testify in a public auditor's hearing).
The offer, however, will not be extended to Paul Tay (he has the record for being banned the most times by TulsaNow).
Surely there are other posters on this forum who need a small donation to their campaign. Identify your self and expect a check.

We could also do a list for posters insulted by Medlock on his blog. I think I was "swake the snake".
And are you sure Tay has been banned more than Davaaz?

The cynicism engendered by the ongoing tragi-comedy of City officials blundering through our money will likely cause me to run down the list of candidates and when I reach a name and go "Who?", I'll mark them on the ballot.
I listened to all the propaganda last time and voted for Taylor - what a waste...for Tulsa.

Do I need to buy more firearms or wear camo?
Here, I'm confident no Republican in Oklahoma would dare compete if you had a license to carry this:

now just posting something relevant and RM will gladly cut you a check. :)
Although the candidate questionnaires have consummed much time and energy, I have thoroughly appreciated the wide range of questions asked. I have particularly enjoyed the Chamber of Tulsa questionnaire.
Something relevant. The concept of the council - manager form of government. Granted I have only done preliminary research on the topic. What struck me - 1) Cities above a certain population (Tulsa would fall into this category) use the council - manager form almost exclusively 2) These cities are financially okay.
As was pointed out - the city charter would permit the hiring of a city manager now. I haven't investigated that claim.
I would enjoy responses. What are the pitfalls, the pros and cons, the practicality of considering a change in government form?
