Title: Replacing interior doors
Post by: HoneySuckle on June 11, 2009, 11:45:34 PM
Has anyone replaced their interior doors and door jambs?

I took a look at some doors at Lowes and HD but was not impressed.

I am not looking for fancy doors, but want to get something better than present doors (Birch/hollow).  These are the doors to rooms/closets.

Where would you guys recommend looking?

Go to a lumber supply.  Hope, or Mill Creek.

Agreed. The quality is better.

Never heard of Hope.  Will try both.

What about M&M Lumber?

Heard there is a lumber place in Bixby but the woman could not remember the name of the place.

Dawson's and Habitat often have reclaimed doors.

I will check them out, but I need about 16 doors and also base molding.
