Ah, quick question here Guido, I've not followed other filings on this closely. Are both GM and Chrysler BK's in New York? The reason I'm questioning is an article I'd read this morning that there was an appeal to SCOTUS said Justice Ginsburg had discretion over cases like this from New York. Just wondering if the fix is in on this and the stay is window-dressing.

The GM Chapter 11 bankruptcy was filed in New York. If you don't know, each SCOTUS justice is assigned to essentially supervise certain circuit courts of appeals. Ruth Buzzi covers the Second District, which is the COA for New York. I wouldn't go so far as to think there is any fix yet, but the longer this drags out the more likely FIAT will abandon the deal and force Chrysler into Chapter 7 liquidation (where it belongs).
