Informal parking space squat to mingle/participate in a social exchange of information, ideas, and connections.  Bring astroturf, lawn chair, and food/drinks to share.  Last Thursday of every month.  Parking space in front of KJRH-TV, 3701 S Peoria, Tulsa, OK 74135.   5:30 p.m.

I agree with the notion that it is just a given that in a typical neighborhood 95% of the public space is reserved for cars.  People fail to see this.  They also fail to see the enormous cost of cars in both ownership (cost of the vehicle, fuel, oil changes, insurance, driveway space, garage space . . . ) and of course the roads ($1bil for rail?  Dear god that's expensive.  $1bil annually for highway maintenance, the roads are crap and we need more funding!).

I'm guilty too, just sayin'.
