The Talons are playing Oklahoma City this Saturday May 9, 7:00 at the BOK Center.
Also a bit of interesting new about the Talons and the AF2:

Wow! Very cool!
I plan on being there. The energy level is real high and the game exciting when OKC is in town.
Talons won 75-56. Great game.

This would be a good reason to build the pre-defined BOK Center expansion. Add a "Talons Grill," office space for AF2, and conference space for related meetings.

I saw you there. You were the crazed fan wearing a helmet on backwards and screaming GO TALONS!.
Ha!
It was a good time. About 7,000 people made it plenty loud. Always good action. And I was struck by 2 things:
1) After the game was over, the players came out and talked to the fan for about 30 minutes. Very impressive.
2) Damn that is expensive.
When I went to buy tickets the cashiers first words were "the cheapest tickets are $35 before taxes and fees." Apparently a good number of walk up business would just turn away when they heard the ticket prices. If I had my boy with me, I might have too.
A buddy and I went to the Tallons game. 2 tickets: $80. Nachos: $15. A few rounds of drinks: $45. Not a cheap not out.
My wife took the dog and went to the Drillers game. Probably spent $30 all in.
The Tallons games are fun, but too expensive for me to make them a habit.
I bought three tickets from a scalper for $40 total. There are usually scalpers over by the southwest entrance.
My son and his friend both got free t-shirts. My son caught one thrown by a cheerleader and his friend caught one thrown from Pizza Boy Blake.
I did shell out for a $4 snow cone and made the boys share.
