Does anyone know how many people lost thier jobs when Hireright bought out USIS? From what I understand they got rid of all thier Independent Contractors and now going to move the business to California.
They haven't laid anyone off technically. All the contractors work on a per-item basis. The new company has moved about 80% of the work to automated systems so you have the same # of employees all fighting over 20% of the work. My guess is, they're counting on people to quit over the next few weeks/months.
Update:
All IC's are being terminated. All of them.
