Hey friends, I'm jonesing for some Kolaches but can't seem to find them in town. Anyone know where they might be had? In South Texas, they are fairly common at donut shops, and even KC and many other major markets have a chain called Kolache Factory which is pretty tasty.
Sausage rolls at the donut shops = not the same
Frozen kolaches from Sam's = not so good
Prague Kolache Festival May 3rd = maybe, but their website only mentions the fruit filled ones, not the sweet delicious sausage and cheese-filled ones
PS - The coffee shop in the middle of the Farm Shopping Center had some good ones for a while. About a year ago I stopped by to snag one and they guy said he stopped making them, it was a long story, and don't ask. Secret kolache disaster? Do tell!
Cheers!
Havent worn those since I was a kid. I usually just wear boots or something else a little more waterproof.
My sisters wore them in the '70s, but I think they were called gauchos back then.
Looks like you will have to go to Prague or Yukon to get them.....
Looks like Kolache Factory ships orders in minimums of 3 dozen. Might have to put in an order...
We've been getting pierogies from Schwanns, so I went there to look for kolaches. No luck.
What we need is a big ethnic food festival here in Tulsa.

Excellent call.
Thanks for checking, Ed! I do appreciate the effort.
