Or Karma Wars, whatever....

Post here, get some karma, one way or the other.

+1 for you, having the intestinal fortitude to be first.  Too bad I can only give one away at a time.

Limited time offer:  All positive karma for those who post here.  And I'll keep hitting you until I'm tired of you.  Only 1 per hour maximum.

Love that show.

But someone keep countering my positive karma toward you.  So young, yet so many enemies.  What did you do?

If you are concerned about what your 'karma' rating is - get a life.  It is just another mechanism to deter critics, move comments to the 'center,' and keep troublemakers out.  I do not disagree with these goals, but frankly I would look for a lamer, tamer forum.  I am only surprised that as of this post my karma is only -4, I intended to be much, much more polarizing than that.

You want a piece of me? BRING IT ON!

Seriously Clark? Maybe I should have used the tongue-in-cheek emoticon.  :P

I am sorry Charks I was not meaning to bag on you, specifically.  I s'pose I should have said 'one' instead of 'you.'  I would just hate it if the crazies stayed away because they were afraid of a negative rating.

That's cool. The whole karma thing is kind of silly fun anyway. Just being cheeky.....

Hey, if it deters trolls, then why not?  Although I'm not sure that it would; a high negative would seem to be exactly what they want...that's the whole point of trolling, right?

If everybody saw eye to eye on every issue, then we wouldn't need a discussion forum, right?  I certainly don't agree with a lot of you guys on issues, but for me, there's a real difference between somebody who works hard in a discussion (posts articles, listens to others, etc.) and some mule who tosses a turd in the punchbowl just for kicks.

How does the karma thing work anyways do users click approve/disapprove or what? I wanna give love, too.

Clicking "Approve" gives a person +1 Karma

Clicking "Disapprove" gives a person -1 Karma

I've been diligently adding Karma to posters.  Some posters I can't get to the break even, which means someone is dolling out negative Karma as fast as I can slap on the positive.  Not sure if that's funny, or sad.

I'm getting back to my old self.  "Sticks and carrots".  Mostly sticks.

My Karma will soon be in negative territory.  I've never really doubted that outcome.

Sounds like Karma default credit swaps. Or Karma kickbacks. I see the whole Karma system failing unless there is some sort of regulations against such practices. :P

Get your Karma the old fashioned way....earn it.
