Anyone got this one yet? This is for you Guido.[;)]

The Dead Horse

Young  Chuck in Montana bought a horse from a farmer for $100. The  farmer agreed to deliver the horse the next day.

The next day the farmer drove up and said, "Sorry son, but I have some bad news... The horse died."

Chuck replied, "Well, then just give me my money back."

The farmer said, "Can't do that. I went and spent it already."

Chuck said, "Ok, then, just bring me the dead horse."

The farmer asked, "What ya gonna do with him?"

Chuck said, "I'm going to raffle him off."

The farmer said, "You can't raffle off a dead horse!"

Chuck said, "Sure I can, Watch me.  I just won't tell anybody he's dead."

A month later, the farmer met up with Chuck and asked, "What happened with that dead horse?"

Chuck said, "I raffled him off.  I sold 500 tickets at two dollars a piece and made a profit of $898."

The farmer said, "Didn't anyone complain?"

Chuck said, "Just the guy who won. So I gave him his two dollars back."

Chuck grew up and now works for the government.  He's the one who  figured out how this "bail-out" is going to work.

The picture in that last post is kind of disturbing.  Any details about who is pictured here?

Screen capture from "Office Space" with a horse photoshopped onto it.  In the original screen grab, the guys are in a field destroying a copier with a baseball bat.

Thank you.  Won't have to report to Peta.  I mean, I can't even stand the sight of road kill critters.

Thanks for the cover Wevus.  That's actually (left to right): cannon_fodder, Conan, and sgrizzle.  That was one of CF's dogs playing dead for us.

Everybody thinks the bailout is socialism.  This sounds like a good capitalism to me!

My picture is a basically a photoshop of the same scene a little further on.  The guy in white freaks out and whales on the machine with his fist.

Good movie.  Good times.

It wasn't a copier.  It was a printer.  Beating on a copier would just be silly.

Not if that copier kept display 'PC Load Letter'.  I mean, come on!  pancakes does that mean?

But see, that's just it.  A copier would never say "PC load letter".  Since PC stands for printer cartridge.  Although if your hypothetical ever did actually play out, then yes the copier would deserve the same beating that Peter, Michael, and Samir dished out.

Something tells me that you've seen "Office Space" more times than the normal person.

Generally PC LOAD LETTER (always in all caps of course) is from HP lazerjet printers like the one sitting in my office.  The movie script refers to it as a printer ("the printer is not working" http://www.imsdb.com/scripts/Office-Space.html)

Lead up to the scene:

The scene in question:

Good times, good times.

It's required viewing for anyone that sits in a cubicle.

Now someone who works in my field (Software Quality Testing) has extra credit.  You must also watch 'Grandma's Boy'.  But that's a lot more raunchy than 'Office Space' ever thought of being.  Even with the 'O face'...
