Chewbacca?
Noice.
Whats an 8.59mm though? I thought those were .50 caliber.
50cal is 12.9mm
8.59mm is a 338 caliber. Essentially a sniper round. Lots of powder, not too large of a round. It has a niche because it has never been used as a military round, thus many countries that ban military rounds allow this round for hunting (no .223 but you can have a .338 magnum, round? That makes sense. Yay gun control.).
[edit]Should have said past tense, since obviously the military is using it now...[/edit]
