Title: Looking for a Job
Post by: ok2bme11 on February 12, 2009, 09:27:34 AM
I know there are a lot of people looking for a job.  What if we have a regular topic with job openings or where people who are looking can post.  In that regard, do you know of any companies hiring building maintenance people?

Better topic for marketplace?

But to answer your question - a thread looking to hire would probably be a good idea.  And I'm afraid I don't know of anyone hiring maintenance people.

Best of luck to all job seekers!

Do you have a Stationary Engineers License?

If so I do.

Oh, by the way I'm in the staffing business.   Have been for 20plus years.

Tulsa is the place to be for jobs. The Sunday Tulsa  paper is full of jobs. Tulsa's unemployment rate is around 4.0 percent. Tulsa has the best of everything from employment to low cost of living to a rather mild climate with great summers and a winter that is short and not super cold for long. Another city with lots of work is Omaha, NE and Lincoln, Nebraska, both those cities have unemployment rates around 4.0 percent or lower. States like Ohio & Michigan are in double digit unemployment, I guess Florida & California  are  also having it ruff.. The Great Plains is the best area for work and living IMO. [}:)]
