Well this is absolutely comforting as a taxpayer:

I love the shoulder shrug at the end.

What was the point in that? Where on earth do you find so much strange, off the wall stuff lol?  And why on earth would any adult post it on here? Don't you have anything worthwhile to do or contribute? lol

How would one know exactly how many jobs it will create? (or more likely, keep)

I can understand why he doesn't want to put a specific number out there at this point, though. It's like reading tea leaves.

Personally, I'm all for infrastructure spending just on the grounds that much of our stuff is already falling apart and needs to be fixed or rebuilt. Repairing bridges and other infrastructure will certainly put people to work doing that and will also fix the underlying problem. Seems like a good idea to me.

I'd like to see a few billion spent on building out solar farms on federal land and another few billion spent upgrading our electrical transmission systems, and maybe a few more billion retrofitting coal and oil fired power plants to reduce their emissions.

He's the inverse of FOTD sans the cut-and-paste.

That's a really bad editing job.  It's obvious that there's much more to that exchange than just a Camp's rant and a shrug.  In fact, the shrug looks more like frustration than ignorance.

But ya know, whatever floats the minority party's boat.

Are you and the others in this thread kidding me? We have a brand new president that has promised, err said, that he will create/save 2-3 million jobs. Does anyone question where he arrives at that figure? Of course not. I show a video clip of a guy who supposedly knows something about the stimulus and he cannot testify that even 1 job will be created.

You show a video clip that is badly edited and -- knowing your track record -- probably dishonest.  It's useless arguing a point with you that isn't an actual point.

Come back with an honest question.

Whatever. I found the clip, which was created by Congressman Camp, on youtube.

Hey, noticed you took the cowards way out with naming-calling. Let's see, who said stop with the ad hominems about a week ago? Hypocrite.

No ad hominem here.  I'm not attacking you or your mom, I'm attacking the honesty of your argument.  Which I think, as it has before, is lacking.

And just because Congressman Camp posted that doesn't automagically make it less of a piece of propaganda.
