From the parking garage at St. John's looking west, I was going for a landscape shot the day before Thanksgiving, about 0900. When I was cropping the pic I saw some anomalous bright objects that I did not see when I was shooting. In this (//%22http://www.panoramio.com/photo/16798114%22) the objects are to the right of the left tower, about even with the KTUL tower. Here (//%22http://www.flickr.com/photos/43648691@N00/3102758533/%22) is a close-up.
The ONE DAY I forget my tin-foil hat when I was out and about town . . .
Jupiter and Venus?
Pay no attention to Tim ...
You earthlings crack me up ...

The two objects on the right are more starlike/planetlike than those on the left, and being in the west means they would have been setting for the day so that could be. pancakes about the others? Birds with landing lights? I really do not know.
FWIW, my son left for work late Thursday pm, and noticed a bright light in that area. He thought it might have been a falling star but it was too large. It streaked across the sky and disappeared but he heard no crash.
Camera lenses do strange things. What equipment were you using?

Canon EOS20D w/standard lens on autofocus; espec the figure on the left looks like some moving anomaly. This was 11/26/08 0900 or so.

My husband saw the same thing -- not sure what night it was -- but he believes it was a meteor.
I am always amazed when such things happen and so few people notice them. I have some inlaws who reside in Phoenix where the lights were a few years back. They live in the area that would have had a clear view of the formations silhouetted against the mountains. Even though the governor saw them and they were reported on the evening news, my sister in law wasn't aware until we called her for the real story. The real story was, like most folks, they were watching "Survivor".
Take it from me (the government), it was a weather balloon.
More than likely the space lab moving across the sky near where we see Venus in the evenings this time of year.

Believe I saw the same thing. Was just the other night.
I can't remember the specific time. I had just finished watching a movie and I stepped out on my balcony at my apartment to feel the weather(Could have been the day we were in the 60's) and to turn off my Christmas lights. Right when I looked up I saw meteor go vertically. It wasn't flying straight, it was kind of squiggling around. I could see the flames behind it followed by a blue flame (Kind of like what you would see on a lighter).
Also last weekend I saw one on my balcony. It wasn't nearly as clear, so it was obviously farther. And flew by horizontaly and much faster.
But seeing two metors in the same week has to be good luck? Right? But I guess if I see another one anytime soon that would be bad luck. Kind of like if you roll doubles 3 times in Monopoly you go straight to jail
Q: What were the objects photographed?
A: DRAGONFLYS!
Chemtrails
Venus + Jupiter + Pelicans
