The man, fell in love with the woman. He was 18, she was 14, 70 years ago. They have been happily married ever since but that all may change if the United States Federal Government gets to have their way with them.

It's FOTD retardation....
Oklahoma HB 2790 (2002)
Changes the statute of limitations for sex offenses when DNA evidence is available, the identify of the offender is established by a DNA profile; and the victim notified law enforcement within seven years of the discovery of the crime. Requires testing of evidence be completed with three years of reopening of an investigation. Applies to these crimes retroactively.
Dunno if this was passed or not.

Not spam. I could post the entire article here without references if you like.
My purpose is to educate the public. These sex offender laws and the AWA is like a huge vacume cleaner and are sweeping up people from great grand parents to teens.
If you don't get anything out of this try and understand, it is our tax dollars that has created a public sex offender registration system.
It does NOT protect children or society but rather endangers all of us.
Oklahoma is about to adopt the unfunded AWA which will cost
Oklahomia's cost of Implementing SORNA ……..$ 5,867,138
Oklahoma's Byrne Money 2006……………………………….$2,790,472
Oklahoma's 10 percent of Byrne money……………………..$279,000
Oklahoma 67% Byrne cut leaves 33% or…………$92,085 So, in order to save $92,085 dollars Oklahomans will have to spend a minimum of $5,867,136.
This is an additional burden on tax payers. These figures do NOT take into account these ever increasing costs.
• New personnel
• Software, including installation and maintenance • Additional jail and prison space
• Court and administrative costs
• Law enforcement costs
• Legislative costs related to adopting, and crafting state law.
This is insane.
I'm not here to spam, I'm not interested in that. cfcoklahoma.org gets between 4-5 thousand visitors per day and growing. I don't need to spam but I do want to educate all who will listen. If this bothers anyone, please don't click on the subject.
Im not on here to educate on hunters rights.
Borders on Spam.
There is a whole internet out there unless you surf off the edge.[8]

Then please don't feel like this is an open forum to promote your cause. I believe what you are doing is bordering on two things:
Spam.
Violating the TOS of this website.
The first of course is opinion.
The second, is of course, just guessing, but it's a pretty educated guess. If you were doing this on my forum (yes I have one), you'd have been banned after the third post like this. It could also be taken as flame baiting.
Sorry you feel that way!
These issues are very important to the community and society as a whole.
Debate is good, it's healthy. otherwise it would be censorship. I really don't see it being something we shouldn't want to understand. I belong to several forums and when someone does a thread that I don't care for, I skip over it. Simple solution. Don't read it.
That's the problem with spam... even if you don't read it, it's annoying.
It appears you are lobbying for more strict/more lax laws. That would seem to be politics in my mind. Why not post there where the same subject over and over and over is pretty well par for the course.
Can someone get this guy off this topic..I think we get it..is this the sex-offender board now..I've been gone for a week and come back to 4 posts about the same crap from this guy....
^^^^^^^
My point exactly.

I'm not a guy, I'm a 52 year old woman. I do believe these issues are extremely relevant to our community and to society. Human and civil rights are not irrelevant to our community.
Please, this is a "public forum" for Tulsa. I live in Tulsa. I believe I have the same right as you do to post what I believe to be relevant.
If you want this to "go away," don't post in the threads and they will eventually disappear by being buried in things like "My dogs favorite toy" or some other very important mind numbing article.

I disagree; not when it borders on spam. I still think you're close to violating this websites TOS. If you want to discuss it, encourage people to discuss it at your forum at the website you host that is in your signature. Until then, you go on 'ignore'.
I'm sure I won't be the only one to take this action, either.
And all the new members joining just to reply to your threads reeks of:

Shame on you, this is so infantile
Typical of showing ignorance. Ignore the message and attack the messenger. Sounds like vigilantism to me.
Shame on you. time to grow up.

Hey, with as many messages as you've posted on the subject, how could I possibly ignore the message.
Just don't comment and pitch a "-itch.
What you appear to be advocating is censorship of subject matter in the guise that there are two many posts dealing with the same thing. I disagree.
One is about teens and youth. another is concerning these laws going after my mother, father and grandparents. Yours too. Perhaps you have children or nephews and nieces??
But like Tee dee de dumb said, They don't care. Perhaps that is you. Only you can answer that.
It is time for people, IMO, to get their head out of the tube and get involved. Otherwise it will be their parents or children caught up into this inhumane system of so called justice.
Don't get me wrong, I do love my country but can't say that I love the government.
Nevertheless, as time goes on I will continue to post, if you don't like it, don't read it. After all, your not the only one here.
and
you don't have to post just because you read it, or do you post on everything??? [;)]
I love this forum.
It makes my work day go by so much faster and with great amusement.

There it is there! LOL
No matter, these laws are becoming more and more scary by the day. Legislators knee jerk reactions have made the problem worse.
