One question nobody is talking about:
What happens if OSU wins, then TTech and Texas both lose? There would be a 4 way tie at 6-2 in the conference, 10-2 overall, and each of the 4 teams would have beaten at least one of the other 3 head to head. Plus OSU would have the most recent big win (vs #2/#3 OU) and might jump everyone else in the BCS standings since the other 3 would be coming off losses. What is the tiebreaker in that situation?
Here's what I don't get...
Texas > OU because they beat OU.
OU > Texas Tech because Tech got CRUSHED by OU.
Tech < Texas because... ?
Herbstreet specifically said he could not vote a team ahead of someone that beat them heads up. But he puts Tech below Texas. It only applies to OU behind Texas apparently.
Objectively, what did Texas do to be ranked above OU? They beat them... got it. What did Tech do to be ranked below Texas? See the dilemma in that reasoning? It doesn't work out there Herb.

Another scenario no one is talking about is the possibility of an OU Texas national championship matchup. There's no rule in the BCS that 2 teams from the same conference cannot play each other in the big game. An OU win, and a Texas win, combined with a Florida loss to FSU, then add Florida beating Alabama, and....

I think it's the same for 3 way or 4 way ties- the highest ranked team in the BCS poll following regular season play will be the winner.
One thing is certain- No one from the Big 12 south will be playing in the national title game in a 4 way tie scenario.
