Title: NTHP - This Place Matters Campaign
Post by: PonderInc on November 20, 2008, 03:47:30 PM
The National Trust for Historic Preservation has a cool campaign called "This Place Matters."  Here's how it works:

Download and print out a "This Place Matters" sign from the National Trust Website (//%22http://www.preservationnation.org/take-action/preservation-month/%22).

Snap a photo of people holding the sign and standing in front of a building/place of particular personal significance.

Then, upload the photo (or photos) to the National Trust This Place Matters (//%22http://www.preservationnation.org/take-action/this-place-matters/%22) site, and post a brief story about the place and why it matters.

To see what some other Tulsans have submitted, go to list of Tulsa sites (//%22http://my.preservationnation.org/site/News2?searchText=tulsa&intlistctrl=-1&pubSearchPeriod=0&pubdate_MONTH=11&pubdate_DAY=20&pubdate_YEAR=2008&lcmd_cf=&page=NewsArticle&cmd=search&dosearch=true&searchLocale=en_US&seclistctrl=1762%22)
