Title: Two Campaigns At Once
Post by: Conan71 on November 05, 2008, 02:28:13 PM
It's an interesting situation.  Is anyone else aware of someone running two active campaigns at once?

This is not a partisan stroke at all, as I've said Senators and Representatives should have to leave their office to run for another elected post.  That should have applied to McCain as much as Obama, Biden, Clinton, and all the others I've since forgotten about.

Does anyone else find it wrong that Delaware voters did not get to pick their Senator?  I was only vaguely aware that Joe Biden was up for re-election this year.  I would assume there will be a hand-picked successor (by the Gov. or state legislature) to take Biden's now vacant seat.

I believe that Lloyd Benston did it.
