Title: World Take on Election
Post by: cannon_fodder on November 04, 2008, 09:00:56 AM
Interesting takes around the world on the election, it still seems weird that our election draws international front page news.  I understand why, but it still seems odd.  Anyway:

Jerusalem Post (//%22http://www.jpost.com/%22)

London Times (//%22http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article5076321.ece%22)

St. Petersburgh Times (//%22http://www.sptimes.ru/%22)
(Interestingly enough, the only state run paper linked [all in Russia are now essentially state run] and it has the least coverage)

Duestche Welle (//%22http://www.dw-world.de/%22)

Kyodo (Tokyo) Japan (//%22http://home.kyodo.co.jp/%22)

Ireland (//%22http://www.ireland.com/%22)

Times of India (//%22http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/default1.cms%22)

U.S. Imperialists' Adventurous Scenario for Nuclear War Assailed (North Korea) (//%22http://www.kcna.co.jp/index-e.htm%22)
(I couldn't resist that headline)

I thought you meant the Tulsa World.  I thought it was weird that they endorsed McCain and used the RNC talking points in doing so.
