After a nice Saturday evening out, dinner at Dalasandro's, Day of the Dead, watching TJ McFarland perfrom, we returned to her house to find her Obama sign ripped up and her car and house egged. All the houses on the block that had Obama signs were egged that night.
She was pissed to say the least. I wasn't to happy because I cleaned it up for her. She promptly whipped out another Obama sign from her trunk and placed it in her yard.
I sat up all night wondering if my car would be egged.

Some of the best videos are of candidates stealing the other guys sign. Seems to happen at least once a year. I loves me some good ole' fashion nightly news style justice.
But this sounds like kids to me. At least, I hope so.
Signs are being defaced and stolen all over the country on both sides. I love the story of a fellow in Pennsylvania who had his Obama sign ripped up three times. He got a metal real estate sign, sunk it in concrete and attached a plastic Obama sign with adhesive. He also attached vines of poison oak from the nearby woods!
The vandal returned and he watched as the guy wrestled with the sign oblivious to the poison oak. He especially enjoyed him wiping his brow of sweat.
That sucks about what happened to you and your gf. It is crazy how some people have no meaningful way to effect change other than by pulling up signs and egging houses.

The University was told of the development and contacted local authorities. The man has been arrested and charged with misdemeanor theft and has been forced to resign his job.
