Title: Free Cup of Coffee
Post by: joiei on November 03, 2008, 10:01:24 AM
Starbucks is giving away a free tall cup of coffee on Tuesday to everyone who votes.  Just drop by and show them your "I Voted" sticker.  The coffee is the tall (12oz) cup and does not include any of the frozen or speciality drinks. And what if you don't get a sticker?  I know from personal experience that half of the precincts never have 'em.

J/K...not a big Starbucks fan, but would want to know what happens if you don't have one.

Their add just says you only have to tell them you voted, not show a sticker.  I would invite you to watch it on their website.

My precinct house always has the stickers.

I don't drink coffee. Starbucks should be forced to give me an alternate beverage. I demand equal handouts.

If they try to take my sticker, I won't get my coffee.

If they don't take my sticker, I'll have a cup of coffee from every Starbuck's in town.

Stickin' it to the man, why else?

My intention is to drink enough free coffee, to bankrupt every Starbuck's in town.

If the end result is bankrupting Starbucks, I'll join you.  I may be doing my "Cornholio" impersonation by the end of the day...

For those who prefer chicken to coffee, I understand chik-fil-a is giving out free chicken for a vote sticker.

A free cup from Starbucks is still not worth it. I would rather pay for a good cup of coffee. Come by Cafe Cubana around 8:00 AM Tuesday morning and say "hi".

Who knew voting could make you fat....

Krispy Kreme is giving away donuts, and Ben and Jerry's is giving out free scoops.

here is the rundown

At participating Krispy Kreme locations, receive a free star-shaped doughnut in celebration of Election Day. Customers must present an "I Voted" sticker to receive their free doughnut.
Need coffee with that doughnut? Head to Starbucks and say "I voted" for a free 12-oz. cup of brewed coffee.
Not a Starbucks fan? BooksAMillion.com is also offering a free cup of coffee to voters.

At participating Chick-fil-A restaurants, voters with an "I Voted" sticker will get a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich.

Afraid your candidate might lose? Daily Grill is extending their happy hour prices on drinks and food until closing on November 4. Plus, get a free happy hour appetizer after presenting an "I Voted" sticker or ballot stub.  This is the new restaurant in the Crown Plaza hotel downtown.

I checked the Ben and Jerry's free ice cream and the closest one to Tulsa is in Branson, Mo.  Don't think I will be making that run for some free ice cream.  I will just go to Freckles.  It is closer to me and gladly pay up for a small cup of vanilla.
