I'm sure those on this forum are already aware of this. Anybody voted yet? How was the wait? I saw on the news there was a line here at the Tulsa County office before 8am. I plan on going during lunch but won't be able to wait if there is a line.
Didn't realize this was an option..... is 555 N Denver the only place to go to do this?

Yes. Only at the county's election office.
The line was already all the way out to Denver when I drove by at 9 a.m. I'm 54 and I've never seen anything like this.
I thought about doing an early ballot, but I really do enjoy seeing the workers ten or so times at my polling place on election day. [}:)]
Seriously, I guess it's just a tradition with me to vote at my precinct. If I were to ever be out of town, I'd definitely do an absentee, but have not had to yet.

You only vote ten times?
Amateur. I vote more than that just in Tulsa County, let alone all the Michael Patton's in other states.
I am just upset that they allow early voting and not late voting. Talk about discrimination.
Well, they started to see a pattern about the time I registered as "Conan80".
The wife and I just voted in Tulsa. Long line, but it moved fairly quickly. Took about an hour from the time we got out of the car until we got back in. A bunch of Dem/Obama/Rice/Oliver signs and campaigners but nothing from any Republican.
I don't understand this early voting thing, unless you will be out of town next Tuesday and are too lazy to file an absentee ballot. I saw the story on the TV news about the long lines at the Tulsa election board for early voting with a 1 hour wait. Seems stupid to me, just vote on normal election Tuesday. State law requires employers to let off their employees for 2 hours to vote, paid time off. This early voting thing is nonsense.
Yeah, the line was really long Friday afternoon, so I guess I'll be voting at the polling place EARLY...
As in early Tuesday morning.... got a 9-7 shift on the other side of town from my polling place... but it could be worse; at least I don't work "Joe-the-Plumber" hours.... [:D]

I like to vote on election day--luckily, my polling place seldom is crowded. I have family in Florida--they had to wait over two hours to vote.
FYI--you can get free stuff if you vote on Tuesday. Starbucks is giving out free coffee, and chik-fil-a is giving out free chicken.
Not that you should vote just for the free stuff....
There has been early voting allowed in Tulsa ever since I moved here almost 8 years ago. I do not know when it was started. Personally, my plan in to vote in my polling station in midtown.
