Ok. Well it happened. I've had my first casualty in the political sign front. I live around 53rd and Riverside. I had a Obama/Biden sign and an Andrew Rice sign in my yard. When I came home from work today, and yes people who are voting for Obama actually work, the Obama sign was gone. I was upset for a couple of minutes but then decided to get another one tomorrow and every subsequent day if need be.
While I can't imagine the lack of character it takes to invade someone's personal property to steal a sign, it could be worse. He, She, They, could have actually done something to my property. Then I probably would have lost it. So I will count my blessings that only a sign was stolen and I will pick up several more signs tomorrow.
Needless to say, I am glad to know that I caused someone out there to get involved in the political process; however illegal it was. :)
Good job random Tulsan! Come again tomorrow!
My mother-in-law had her Obama sign stolen in Bixby. Now she takes it in every night.
It goes both ways. I have had 3 McCain signs destroyed. I must have a liberal neighbor.
I didn't mean to suggest that it doesn't go both ways. I simply wanted to see if this has happened to others in the Tulsa area.
Liberal neighbor or anti-geriatric?
Just kidding! :)
My Bob Barr for President sign hasn't been touched and I just assumed most Democrats and Republicans couldn't read. [:P]
Mr. Burns
Bob Barr for President
Our Obama sign was stolen about three or fours hours after we put it out. We haven't had a chance to get another one yet.

^^Try the Obama headquarters (if you're just looking for Obama)--they are on 15th just east of Peoria--a little better hours.

Do you have my address? You can have it back if it meant that much to you.
Has anyone installed one of those game cameras to see if you catch the rascals on camera? Be interesting to post their pics on the web if you do catch them.
Does anyone have a sign from back when Admiral Stockdale was running for Vice President?
Here's a solution:

That was pretty funny. The sad thing is that the kid was probably doing it for his parent(s) who were parked at the end of the street!
