The bipartisan report has been released. It determined that she did abuse her power, though the family grudge was only one factor in the firing.

Perhaps the nail in the coffin?
It is time to turn the tables--who IS Sarah Palin? How dare she question the patriotism of Obama when she herself used public office for public gain?
Abuse of power, the REAL Bush doctrine.
Look Marge, It's a liberal wet dream...

Earth-shattering, I tell you, just earth-shattering. No one has ever abused power so bad as Sarah Palin.
Yes, how DARE she...
Palin is the one preaching her gospel and now she has been found out by a group of her own party to be responsible for not being legit. The bigger the Lie, the harder the fall.
I think what she did was wrong, but I have to admit that I probably would have tried to do the same. If my sister was getting a divorce and it was all nasty, I would have tried to make life unbearable for her ex.
I of course, am not running for vice-president and acting like I am different than other politicians.
How Sarah Palin handled this was stupid. She was blatant in her motive and tried to punish others who wouldn't do her bidding. This case says more about how she would govern than anything else.

I may be wrong, but I think her actions stemmed more from the tasering of a 10 year old than they did from the actual divorce.
Also, the actual "ethics" violation centers around Todd's improper influence that he was trying to assert and the gubner didn't do anything to stop him once she was informed.
Who is surprised by this report? The dem running the committee said this would be an, "October Surprise" right from the beginning.
She fired a librarian for not supporting her politically. A librarian.
You betcha she tried to have her ex brother in law fired because she didn't like him. She's a maverick dontcha know.

Personal relationship with domestic terrorists versus pushing a public official to fire an guy who tasered a 10 year old. You're right, they're equal...
The child who was tasered was his own stepson who asked to be tasered.
When my father was a police officer, he worked at Webster High School football games. Students would always come up and ask what pepper spray was like. He would put a little on their fingers and tell them to wipe it under their eyes.
I watched many a kid cry and their friends laugh.

The relationship ain't much. They haven't spoken in years.
The "terrorist" is a college professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
I guess that means all the other faculty members, students and state employees have "personal relationships" with a domestic terrorist.
Sorry, Iplaw...that is the worst argument you have ever made...

And they continue to try and make the argument against 'that one'.

Wasn't it great that the Palin campaign released their own report clearing Sarah Palin of all wrongdoing?
I am going to issue a report that says I am the Queen of England.
Yes, I released a report with surprising findings. Turns out I AM the Admiral of the Inland Waterways! But since I once sat next to a hippie radical in econ class back in the day, turns out I'm unfit for the title.
This just in: I am a planet. Pass it on.

If McCain was a Chairman on a board founded by an abortion clinic bomber, would you be so quick to dismiss that relationship?
I doubt it.
As far as the fact that they haven't spoken recently, I imagine that it's because Obama has a brain and understands that his willingness to associate with a**holes like Ayers doesn't really bolster his credibility.
And yes, anyone who willingly associates with Bill Ayers should be ashamed of themselves.

Why don't you worry about your own flimsy arguments?
Oklahoma just released a report, saying it's the No. 1 team in college football despite its loss to Texas.

How many people condemning Palin here had a problem with violating several young ladies Due Process rights by doing everything in his power to deny them a fair trial? Including perjury, direct appeals to the Supreme Court attempting to outright deny their claims, and on and on?
How many here were against Hillary for abusing her power by steeling from the White House and the national Archives when she left DC the last time? Did that preclude her from being your horse? Would a normal citizen be allowed to steal federal property and/or historic documents and not be sent to prison?
How many hold a grudge against Ted Kennedy for not being drunk and not crashing his car off a bridge and not leaving the scene of a fatal accident... and then showing up the next day (sober) to explain that none of that happened? Would Joe Blow have gotten away with that or was it an abuse of power?
Either stop being fake shocked and appalled or play the ball both ways. What she did drops her stock a long way in my book (aside from being a Bush-like zealot), but it certainly was no worse than a TON of other things done on both sides of the aisle (yes, this damn well includes GW). I'm not defending Palin by any means, but be careful casting those stones so hard.
Damn I wish Oklahoma allowed democratic elections, but we'll be the only state (again) with one of the two ruling elite parties to vote for. Do I vote for the old man and the woman or the old man and the black guy? Life long government employee and house wife turned government employee or life long government employee and never really worked in the private sector turned government employee? Tax and spend or borrow and spend?
My choices are so over whelming.
