Haven't been around in awhile, but I watched the Katie Couric-Palin interview tonight and my SO is tired of hearing me gripe about it, so I have been directed to vent here!
Here's the video, for those who haven't seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73Yx-RhHb4g
It really is embarrassing to watch her -- at this point, I almost loathe her, but I still kind of have to look away at parts, it's so awkward. That moment when she recites her answer about McCain's campaign manager, and then Katie asks a follow up, and she is frozen for a few seconds, and them haltingly gives almost the exact same answer, word for word, is just stunning.
I think it becomes clearer and clearer why they are willing to go to great lengths to avoid letting her debate. There's barely a coherent sentence in the entire interview, and there is not one fact or position or ANYTHING that just about any person on this board couldn't have come up with -- and probably delivered the line better! I mean, not one, single teeny-tiny example of McCain's Maverick-ness? What in the world have they been doing all this time that they have been "schooling" her?! Give me 15 minutes and access to Google and I would have been better-prepared!
The start of that was almost as painful as this one:

This is the same Paulson that said just a couple of weeks before Fannie and Freddie were bailed out that the economy was doing fine on the Sunday morning news shows. That Paulson, right?
He wouldn't have a credibility gap that is making getting a deal done a lot harder now would he?

And why exactly hasn't Paulson been fired yet? His donkey should be on the street for lying to the public and congress about the health of the economy.

Once again posting stuff from a known right wing blog is the same as any left leaning poster citing stuff from Dailykos.
It's the same as believing Faux News is 'fair and balanced'

Once again, you are shooting the messenger and ignoring the message. It's a video of Bob Schieffer from CBS NEWS commenting. What difference does it make if I found it at Newsbusters. Now, unless you can show the clip is out of context, shut up and address the point. Otherwise, keep quiet, big people are talking in here.

He's citing sources. Were they republican sources?
Don't like argument? Don't get involved then. Telling me to keep quiet ain't gonna work, gweedork.

Uh, good retort. Buh-bye.
Former President, and notorious right winger, Bill Clinton, weighing in on McCain's decision regarding the debates. Clinton calls the financial crisis as "national security":

Oh, I forgot, it's from Breitbart, so this is meaningless.
Maybe not so much love from the right in DC about McCain's return?
quote:
...But leaders from the left and the right rejected the idea of McCain and Obama taking over the talks. When asked by reporters if he wanted McCain sitting in blow-by-blow negotiations Rep. Adam Putnam, the No. 3 House Republican, simply smirked, mute for ten seconds as reporters laughed. Democrats were more voiciferous in their rejection of McCain-Obama negotiations; New York Senator Chuck Schumer and Rep. Jim Clyburn, the No. 3 House Dem, both said if McCain had really cared where have he -- and his staff -- been in the negotiations thus far.

Clinton is practically shooting darts at Obama at this point. I think he's going to make a scene before the election.
Hope blowjob Bill does do just that. It would help Barack.

Brinkier today.
"he would rather lose an election than win an election." Colbert
Pretty coward of him to suspend his show!
