What's everyone's favorite public golf course in the area? I'm putting together a promotional package for one of my clients and I want to have a golf offering as part of it.
I'm partial to Forest Ridge, but I don't get to play much anymore.

Whitehawk is nice at 145th and Yale. Cherokee Hills at the casino is a nice course as well. Southlakes in Jenks is pretty decent as well.
Bailey Ranch is Owasso was always a challenge, but it's 35 miles away from where I currently live.
I really like almost all the courses in the Tulsa area but I've been really impressed with LaFortune this year.
Emerald Falls is a good one in BA but it's extremely hard and will take every bit of 5 hrs to play.
There's also a lot of good courses within an hours drive of Tulsa but stay away from that new one in Verdigas.
I heard Pryor is getting completely redone as is Fountain Head over by Eufala.
I play all of them and I have to give LaFortune my favorite for this year but as all of us golfers know, these courses change every year.[;)]
Cleary Fields in Sapulpla is really nice and I've heard its in great shape this year

Someone new bought it this year and really made it a lot easier to play. They took out all of that harsh rough which has really helped play on the course.
I really like the course. I heard the person who bought the course is the Asian Karate guy that use to have the Glenn Eagles Golf Course, I can't remember his name.

Yes, Master Kang bought the course. It however has fallen apart. The greens are dried up and the last time I was out there (a few weeks ago) there was no sand, only mud in the sand traps. I think he's just working out the kinks, but it was pretty bad.
Battle Creek is in good shape and is a nice course if you don't mind the houses.
I kind of like Stone Creek and Old Page myself but they probably don't compare to some of the more expensive courses in the area.
Forest Ridge is nice and Emerald Falls is really nice but hard as hell.
