So, what is the new place next door to Vintage at 18th and Boston. Anyone tried it yet?
I loved Daily Grille, while it is a chain, it has great atmosphere, food that is consistent with their other locations and a super staff that really likes to serve you. I had an impromptu luncheon on Friday and the manager and staff, through something together for me on a moments notice and was kind enough to give us the back room without even knowing if we were going to have 3 or 13. Nice customer service.
How about Leon's. Anyone know what that is going to be in Brookside?
And how about places close to the BOK? I ended up going back to Daily Grille because I knew what to expect. They have happy hour $2 appetizers and for a quick bite and drink, it is a great deal.
Looking for new places to eat, so list any places you have tried here.
Next to Vintage is Oscar's. Its good
Oscar's at 18th & Boston is AWESOME!!!! I love it. The food is excellent, the prices are very reasonable & the service is great. It does seem empty, because the place is so big. I hope they stay open for quite a while. This bar is in my top 3 of places to go. I don't feel I leave the bar and have wasted my money. Spread the word, this bar is definetly worth checking out. Once you go, I promise you will go back :)
We've been to Oscar's three times. The first time (about 10 days after they opened) was excellent. However, the next two times the food was average at best...
Easily one of my top restaurants in Tulsa.
My food experiences have always been great. Beer good, service good. Atmosphere pleasant. Location, for me, awesome.

Lola's, in the Brady at the corner of Main St. and Brady St. Nice atmosphere. It's within walking distance of the BOK.

Yep.
What about Pubs in Tulsa, any that you guys would recommend for food? I miss Pub food in the UK. We had some great meals in Abingdon and also Oxford.
You won't find European equivelant pub fare in Tulsa though there are many places that profess to provide it. The closest approximations (I won't include chains in any local list) are Kilkenney's, McNellie's, Oscar's, Louie's, Lola's but all have a more regional flair. You might also try Caz's, White Owl, Full Moon, and Oliver's Twist. Paddy's on Memorial was IMO a very decent Irish knockoff but it has left the building.
Tulsa has lots of great localy owned restaraunts, but don't go to any of them hoping to recreate an EU vacation vibe.
Carlton, I don't care if it is just "close-ish", that would suffice.
Nothing can beat a pub in the UK...sigh, but that's okay. All the more reason to go back I guess.

You forgot White Lion. Really the closest Tulsa has ever gotten to a cozy authentic neighborhood pub.
I loved Paddy's, and hated to see it go.

Love the White Lion. Met my wife there on a blind date.
Heh, met my wife at Paddy's when I wasn't looking to meet anyone.
When you're not looking is the best time.
Louie's is pub fare?
You can't be talking about the place on 101st with the bar in the old car wash and the restaurant in the Git-n-Go.

Absolutely spot on.
95% of my trips to soc land involve the White Lion.
I am not looking, but I still haven't found anyone.
How is Oscar's doing business wise?
