Doesn't glass blowing affect a person's health?

You trying to kill us?

Why actually, I'm glad you bring this up.  Glassblowing does offer a sense of "danger" in that uses fire and there are chemicals that may be inhaled.  However, if you look to the evidence that there are plenty of glassblowers who are now in their 70s--that might be proof enough you'll live through one of our really fun and unique experiences down here!

We have a lot of safety precautions which we go over when you come for a lesson, and we are properly ventilated.
For the off-chance someone gets burned or cut (a rare occasion here) we do keep a First-Aid kit close-by.  Come visit and we'd be happy to show you the wonder of glassblowing.

I am going down to OKC this weekend to see the Dale Chihuly exhibit at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. I love glass art.

I just came back from that yesterday. Make sure that you also check out the Roman Art From The Louvre exhibit as well.

You didn't happen to venture down to the Regatta Festival on the Oklahoma River, did you?

No, we arrived at OKC at noon, and left around four-thirty after a late lunch. I had other things I needed to do back at home.

I checked out a Chihuly exhibit there a couple of years ago.  Is it still the same?  I know some of it is permanent, but does the show change?
I love that stuff.  Sure wish it were in Tulsa.
